Ragapriya has stated. In a launch right here on Wednesday, Dr. Ragapriya said that 15 kg rice and 20 kg jowar every for 29,262 Antyodaya Yojana cardholders adopted by 2 kg rice and three kg jowar every for 8,50,245 BPL cardholders and a pair of kg wheat every for 2,33,865 APL cardholders shall be distributed underneath PDS. And, 5 kg rice every for 1,18,856 Antyodaya Yojana cardholders and 5 kg rice every for 8,50,245 BPL playing cards holders shall be distributed underneath PMGKY. She said that single and greater than two members of non-priority households may get 5 kg and 10 kg rice every, respectively, by paying ₹15 per kg. Source: The Hindu
Officials launch the children's survey at Kakalwar village in Gurmatkal taluk. A survey has been launched to collect details of children in the entire district as experts have have warned that the Covid-19 third wave may hit the children hard, said Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Shilpa Sharma. Launching the survey at Kakalwar Gram Panchayat in Gurmatkal taluk of the district, she said, the high school teachers, anganwadi, and Asha workers would take up the door-to-door survey. This would help initiate the precautionary measures in the district to protect the children from the Covid-19 pandemic, she said. She said, the teachers on the survey duty should also collect the details of disabled persons and the children who lost both the parents due to Covid. The involvement of Gram Panchayat and the community is crucial in making this endeavor a success, she added.
